Back in 2012, Google bought Motorola and this was a big deal, since Motorola was very old on the market. Despite the worries at the time, it seems that this was a good move and now they take pride in two excellent phones: Moto Z and Moto Z Force. But let’s see which one should you pick in case you want a new phone.

The specs for each of them are very satisfactory. While the Moto Z has the dimensions 153.3×75.3×5.2 mm and it weighs only 136 grams, the Force phone is 155.9×75.8×7 mm, which means it’s definitely larger and also heavier, with 163 grams. Both share the same type of display, an AMOLED screen of 5.5 inches and a resolution of 1440×2560 pixels, which means around 535 ppi.

They both run the stock version of Android Marshmallow and share the same type of processor: a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820. Also, Motorola decided to use a 4 GB memory on both phones. The storage options for both are 32/ 64 GB, but it can be extended up to 256 GB with a SD card.

The camera is one thing that differs between the two phones. Moto Z offers a primary camera of 13 MP, with laser autofocus and a dual LED flash, while the front camera has 5 MP and LED flash. Meanwhile, the Moto Z Force has a 21 MP primary camera, together with laser and phase detection type of autofocus, while the secondary camera has 5 MP and also a LED flash. Moto Z Force is better when it comes to battery too, having a 3,500 mAh Li-Po one, whereas the Moto Z only has a 2,600 mAh one.

All in all, it is indeed a hard choice between the two phones, since they have impressive specs and great design!
