Indeed, they are the most popular mobile device manufacturers and people pay hundreds of dollars on their high end products, ignoring other brands that are releasing much cheaper phones with a premium design and great specs. ZTE is one of the companies that are trying to break the ice. Today, we’ll present you its latest smartphones: the ZTE nubia Z11 mini, which costs over 200 dollars, and ZTE nubia Z11, which is around 500 dollars.


The ZTE nubia Z11 mini measures 141.4x70x8mm and weights 138 grams. On the other hand, the ZTE nubia Z11 is a phablet that measures 151.8×72.3×7.5mm and weights 162 grams, but it shares the same design: full metal back with a fingerprint scanner located in the top center. The nubia Z11 mini has the camera placed in the upper left corner, while the nubia Z11 has its camera above the fingerprint scanner. Anyway, both devices have a red circle around the rear camera and a circular home button below the screen.


The ZTE nubia Z11 mini has an IPS LCD display of 5-inch that supports a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels at 441 ppi. The ZTE nubia Z11 has a larger IPS LCD display of 5.5-inch that supports a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels at 403 ppi.

Processors, Graphics Cards & RAM

The ZTE nubia Z11 mini has a Qualcomm MSM8952 Snapdragon 617 chipset, a quad-core Cortex A53 CPU clocked at 1.5GHz and a quad-core Cortex A53 CPU clocked at 1.2GHz, an Adreno 405 graphics card and 3GB of RAM. The ZTE nubia Z11 features a Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 820 chipset, a dual-core Kryo CPU clocked at 1.6GHz and a dual-core Kryo CPU clocked at 2.15GHz, an Adreno 530 graphics card and 4GB or 6GB of RAM.


The ZTE nubia Z11 mini has been released with an internal storage of 64GB, while the ZTE nubia Z11 comes in two internal storage variants of 64GB and 128GB. Both devices have a microSD card slot that support cards up to 256GB for storage expansion.


Both devices have a front camera of 8MP and a rear camera of 16MP, but the ZTE nubia Z11 mini supports only phase detection autofocus, LED flash, geo-tagging, panorama, face detection, touch focus and HDR, while the ZTE nubia Z11 offers dual-LED flash, OIS, phase detection autofocus, face detection, panorama, touch focus, HDR and geo-tagging.


The ZTE nubia Z11 mini is powered by a non-removable battery of 2800 mAh, which is less powerful than the 3000 mAh non-removable battery of the ZTE nubia Z11.
