The Xiaomi guys are planning to release on June 30 the Xiaomi Mi Max, which is a exactly a month after the device was launched in China. They have not revealed the Indian price yet, but as it seems it will match other mid-range devices.

Galaxy J7 costs 15,990 rupees in India, while the Mi Max has various prices. For instance, you will have to pay 1499 Yuan (which means 230 dollars/ 15,300 rupees) if you choose the version with 32 GB internal storage, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 processor and 3 GB RAM. For the one with Qualcomm Snapdragon 652, 64 GB internal memory and 3 GB of RAM, the price is 260 dollars/ 17,400 rupees/ 1699 Yuan. Finally, 1999 Yuan (308 dollars/ 20,400 rupees) costs the phone with Snapdragon 652, 128 GB internal storage and 4 GB RAM, so it all depends on your budget and preferences.

Xiaomi Max is a good competitor for the Galaxy J7, if you look at the display, for example. It has a 6.44 inches LCD display, with capacitive touchscreen and a 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution (which is 342 ppi). Meanwhile, the Galaxy J7 has a display of 5.5 inches and the same resolution, but with 401 ppi.

Galaxy J7 has an Exynos octa-core processor of 1.6 GHz and it has Android Marshmallow. Xiaomi also has Marshmallow, but it has different processors. It also has different storage options, while J7 has 16 GB internal memory that can be expanded to 128 GB with a microSD card.

The device made by Xiaomi has a 16 MP camera and a 5 MP one on the front, while the J7 has a 1 has a 13 MP main one and a 5 MP front one.
