Unfortunately, we will not be seeing the MacBook Pro 2016 anytime soon as Apple has delayed the development by removing the 3.5 mm audio jack.
Apparently the giant has decided to ditch anything related to the current wired audio technology found in Apple devices by them Macs or smartphones and to focus instead on a new standard for audio connectivity.
Although the developments presented by Apple at the WWDC 2016 event were not all that interesting in terms of hardware, the company has mentioned that it’s working on improving user experience.
How does this apply to the upcoming MacBook Pro 2016? Well, for starters, there will be an OLED bar implemented into the MacBook and it will enable users to access their favorite apps and controls.
But these are just rumors, as there was no talk or presentation related to the MacBook Pro at the WWDC event. Not only that, but there was no new info or statement about the MacBook Air either.
Still, Apple users hope that the MacBook Pro will soon hit the market because the previous model of the device is now being taken away from Apple stores (possibly to make way for the upcoming device). The MacBook Pro 2016 is also rumored to sport the latest Skylake processors which will definitely make it an outstanding gadget in terms of performance.
Some analysts have said that it’s far more probable that we end up seeing MacBook Air 2016 in stores way before we see MacBook Pro 2016. They also talk about Apple removing Retina displays from their Macs but that it’s very probable that the upcoming MacBook Air 2016 will feature Retina display.
Supposedly the MacBook Pro 2016 will be released sometime in the fourth quarter of this year but there is no official statement in this sense yet.
