There are some recent reports that show that Microsoft Pro 5 will be released in 2017. This will follow the Pro 4 version that has been launched in October 2015. Although some people are still ecstatic about the Pro 4, others are anxiously waiting for the Pro 5. But before making a decision, you should know the good and bad parts of each.

Surface Pro 4 came with a display of 12.3 inches and a 2 K resolution. It also has a Intel processor, the 6th gen, but you can choose between an i5, i7 or m3. The graphics are also good, since the device uses Intel chips, a 520 and a 515. The rear camera has 8 MP, which is decent, while the front one has 5 MP. You can choose between 4, 8 or 16 GB RAM.

On the other hand, Pro 5 is rumored to be available in 2 versions: a 2 K resolution one and a 4 K. If rumors are correct, it will have a 12.3 inches display, just like Pro 4. Everybody seems to be sure that the new generation of Pros will benefit the Kaby Lake processors, also from Intel. Moreover, it will have a Surface Connect Port, a mini-Display one, a cover one, a jack and a card reader. Also, it will include a Surface Pen, but for this generation it will have a rechargeable battery.

The Pro 5 is rumored to cost $899, but the version with an i7 processor will cost $1,599, which makes sense since it offers a 4K display. In the meantime, you can enjoy some recent discounts Microsoft offers for their customers.
