The Samsung Galaxy S7 has been released in March 2016, while the Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe is expected to hit the stores this month. We will compare these two smartphones and let you decide which one of them you will want to purchase.
The Galaxy S7 measures 142.4×69.6×7.9mm and weights 152 grams. Last year, Samsung introduced a new design for the Galaxy S6: a glass back and metal frame and everyone love it. This year was used the same design, so there are no differences between the new model and the previous one. The Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe is slimmer and heavier as it measures 156.4×77.4×7.5mm and weights 170 grams. Its design is also premium, but the body is made entirely of metal, the back is flat and there’s a fingerprint scanner (elongated) under the camera.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 features a super AMOLED display of 5.1-inch that supports a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels at 577 ppi and it’s protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4. The Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe has a bigger super AMOLED display of 5.7-inch that supports a lower resolution of 1920×1080 pixels at 386 ppi and it’s protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 comes in two variants, as follows:
– first variant has a Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 820 chipset, a dual-core Kryo CPU clocked at 1.6GHz and a dual-core Kryo CPU clocked at 2.15GHz, an Adreno 530 graphics card and 4GB of RAM
– the other variant has a Exynos 8890 Octa chipset, a quad-core Mongoose CPU clocked at 2.3GHz and a quad-core Cortex A53 CPU clocked at 1.6GHz, a Mali-T880 MP12 graphics card and 4GB of RAM.
The Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe features a Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 820 chipset, a dual-core Kryo CPU clocked at 2.15GHz and a dual-core Kryo CPU clocked at 1.6GHz, an Adreno 530 graphics card and 4GB or 6GB of RAM.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 comes in two internal storage variants of 32GB and 64GB, while the Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe will be released in three internal storage variants of 64GB, 128GB and 256GB. Both devices feature a microSD card slot that supports cards up to 256GB for storage expansion.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 sports a primary camera of 12MP that features OIS, LED flash, phase detection autofocus, touch focus, auto HDR, panorama, face detection and a secondary camera of 5MP. The Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe has a primary camera of 23MP that features dual-LED flash, phase detection autofocus, geo-tagging, face detection, touch focus, panorama, HDR and a secondary camera of 8MP.
Both devices are powered by non-removable batteries of 3000 mAh.
