During the E3 2016 press conference, Sony has revealed the Capcom’s Resident Evil VII. The next day, Capcom had it in the spotlight on the show floor, which surely made many fans of the franchise very happy.

First of all, you should know that the Resident Evil VII will be entirely a first person shooter game and you will be able to play it using PlayStation VR. Unfortunately, it’s not sure yet who will be the main character, but you will most likely not play as Leon or Chris.

It is good to know that the demo of the game is already available on the PlayStation Store and it can be downloaded and played by anyone who owns a PlayStation 4 consoles and has an account with a PlayStation Plus subscription.

However, Capcom has clarified that the playable teaser is just meant to show where the development of the game is going, so that the players will have an idea of how the game will look like once it will be released.

You will be able to control a “silent” character that will wake in a run-down room inside an abandoned house. You will be able to use a “flashlight” that will be pointed to the way you are looking and which, in fact, you will notice that it is actually the light of a video camera that you will constantly hold.

You will notice that, for now, nobody is in the house and every single objective that will pop-up in the center of your view will say: “Leave the house”. On the first floor of the house you will find a dummy’s finger, which is actually a key, and a chained cabinet that you will have to open using a bolt cutter.

However, we will stop here with the spoilers and let you play the demo of this upcoming game. If you own a PlayStation 4 and have an account with PlayStation Plus, search and download the “Resident Evil 7 Teaser Demo: Beginning Hour” on your console.
