LG has released its K8 in April 2016, while the X mach is expected to be released this month (June 2016). We will compare these two handsets and let you decide which one of them suits your needs better.
The LG K8 measures 144.6×71.5×8.7mm and weights 157 grams. This model features a woven back cover with physical buttons below the rear camera, just like the LG G4, while the LG X mach is taller, thicker and lighter, as it measures 149.1×76.5×8.9mm and weights 150 grams and it has a palmable futuristic curved design which makes it look chunky.
The LG K8 has an IPS LCD display of 5-inch that supports a resolution of 1280×720 pixels at 294 ppi. The LG X mach is a phablet with a bigger IPS LCD display of 5.5-inch that supports a higher resolution of 2560×1440 pixels at 534 ppi.
Processors, Graphics Cards & RAM
The LG K8 features a Mediatek MT6735 chipset, a quad-core Cortex A53 CPU clocked at 1.3GHz, a Mali-T720 graphics card and 1.5GB of RAM. The LG X mach comes with a Qualcomm MSM8956 Snapdragon 650 chipset, a hexa-core CPU formed from a dual-core Cortex A72 CPU clocked at 1.8GHz and a quad-core Cortex A53 CPU clocked at 1.4GHz, an Adreno 510 graphics card and 3GB of RAM.
The LG K8 has been released in two in two internal storage variants of 8GB and 16GB which you can expand up to 32GB using a microSD card. The LG X mach features an internal storage of 32GB, but you can expand it up to 256GB using a microSD card.
The LG K8 sports a primary camera of 8MP that features LED flash, autofocus, touch focus, geo-tagging, panorama, face detection and a secondary camera of 5MP. The LG X mach has a better primary camera of 12MP that features phase detection autofocus, LED flash, geo-tagging, panorama, HDR, face detection, touch focus and a secondary camera of 8MP.
Both devices are powered by removable batteries and their capacities are: 2125 mAh (LG K8) and 3000 mAh (LG X mach).
