The OnePlus 2 has been released in August 2015, but OnePlus has rushed things up and brought the successor two months earlier. Today, we’ll compare the OnePlus 2 and OnePlus 3 and see what changes have been made to the new flagship.
The OnePlus 2 measures 151.8×74.9×9.9mm and weights 175 grams. This phone had a Sandstone Black back (made of plastic with a fine grippable surface) and a metal frame, as well as a fingerprint scanner hidden inside the new home button. On the other hand, the OnePlus 3 is thinner and lighter, as it measures 152.7×74.7×7.4mm and weights 158 grams, but its design is no longer unique, as it resembles the HTC One M9, being made entirely of metal and having two lines at the top and bottom of the back, as well as a square rear camera located in the central top.
The OnePlus 2 has a LTPS IPS LCD display of 5.5-inch that supports a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels at 401 ppi and it’s protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The OnePlus 3 comes with a super AMOLED display of 5.5-inch that supports a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels at 401 ppi and it’s protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4.
