After the Xbox conference earlier that day there were concerns about how Sony would be able to follow it up considering that the new PlayStation would not be at the conference; instead of focusing on the hardware, the PlayStation conference was entirely dedicated to the games.

  • God of War
  • Horizon Zero Dawn
  • The Last Guardian
  • Detroit: Become Human
  • The new Kojima game, Death Stranding
  • Crash Bandicoot remasters

The company certainly had a lot to show and even dedicated a section to their PlayStation VR which will work with the main PlayStation 4 console; the new VR headset will be receiving exclusive games such as a Batman VR game which was teased at E3 and even Resident Evil VII. The PlayStation VR was also finally given a release date, October 13 2016.

There was no specific news about the PlayStation 4 console or about PlayStation Network so it doesn’t look like the company has any big changes planned for their current console or online service.
