There have been many speculations lately that Apple is losing its popularity but the fact is that the giant has many hardware and software products on its release schedule.
One of these upcoming hardware releases refers to the MacBook Pro which will presumably be revealed at this year’s WWDC during Apple’s keynote speech which is scheduled for the 13th of June.
It’s rumored that this MacBook will be significantly better than all of the laptops before it and that it will feature major upgrades. This rumor comes from the leaked renders created by the artist M. Hajek and they feature an OLED screen that replaces the function keys.
This was also predicted by KGI Securities analyst Ming Chi Kuo from China. In the leaked photos we can see that the OLED screen features controls and notifications for apps that run in the background. Apparently, the screen can also work as the function key row if it’s necessary and it can also be used for viewing battery indicators or info about the wifi connection.
Other rumors about the MacBook Pro state that it will be lighter and thinner than the ones before and that it will come in two variants: a 13 inch one and a 15 inch one. And since it will be thinner it will also be using very small but complicated metal hinges from Jarllytec.
Presumably, it will be powered by 6th gen Skylake processors and will sport a better battery and overall a better battery life. It’s also possible that Apple will implement Siri into it and Touch ID technology as well.
Although many people believe that the Macbook will be unveiled by Apple at the WWDC event, some believe that it’s more likely that it will be released sometime in the last quarter of this year.
