Previous rumors were suggesting that Activision will give more details about the DLC 3 for Black Ops 3 at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), which will take place from June 14 to 16. Recently, Gotta Be Mobile has reported that the new DLC pack will arrive before the next Call of Duty game, “Infinite Warfare”, which is scheduled to be released on November 4. The Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 expansion packs will bring four maps of which one will be a reimagined version of an older map introduced in one of the previous installments.
Activision will hold top event for the COD franchise, called Call of Duty XP, at the Forum in Inglewood, California, from September 2-4. With this occasion, the developer will reveal more information about Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare multiplayer and Modern Warfare Remastered multiplayer.
Developer Treyarch and game publisher Activision will attend the E3 event and they will most likely tease the audience with details about Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, the next installment, and the DLC 3 expansion pack, which will include a continuation of the Zombie mode, although it’s still a mystery where players will be taken to and what new horrors they will assist to.
Moreover, during the Call of Duty XP event, Activision will allow gamers to play new “Call of Duty VR experience” on the official website and they will enjoy other COD-centric activities. “We’re thrilled to be bringing PlayStation VR to the amazing lineup of event activities, where fans will experience the thrill of piloting their own Jackal fighter jet,” said Adam Boyes, VP of Publisher Relations at Sony Interactive Entertainment America.
The new downloadable content for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 will be available to play at the Call of Duty XP event, where there will be installed 500 gameplay stations. “The best Call of Duty players in the world will be front and centre trying to win the first Call of Duty World League Championship at what is sure to be our biggest Esports event ever,” said Eric Hirshberg, CEO of Activision Publishing.
