Modern Android devices and those running the newest firmware can work without Adobe Flash Player because Android OS would rather work with HTML 5 so users can have a fast browsing experience with better security.

For some people, HTML 5 isn’t an issue since it handles all a user’s browsing needs. Still, many websites use Flash Player, and are not accessible to people who use the Android OS. For that reason, they may want to install Adobe Flash Player onto their tablet or smartphone.

How To Download Adobe Flash Player On Android Devices

Since Android has stopped supporting Adobe Flash Player, users can’t download it from the Google Play Store. However, users can still get ahold of a copy of it and install it onto their device.

In order to do this, they’ll need to download a third-party browser (separate from Chrome). While users will be able to download Adobe Flash Player, they won’t have the amenities that Chrome offers.  There are an array of browsers to choose from though – Dolphin, UC, Opera and Firefox.

Once the browser has been downloaded, users will need to go into their phone’s settings, hit Security and pick Unknown Sources, tapping Ok. Once this is done, the phone can download apps that are not in the Google Play Store.

Users will then need to go to About Tablet or About Phone to find out what version of Android OS they have installed. This will enable them to choose the Flash Player version that correlates with their device.

Once the information has been found, they’ll need to close the settings page, open the third-party browser and visit the Adobe Flash Player Archive Page. Using Ctrl+F, they’ll need to do a search of Android to come up with the Flash Player version that will work on their device. Users will need to tap the link to begin the download and once done, go into Notifications and install it.
