We’re all eagerly waiting for the Android N update but in the meantime, while the latest available version of the Android OS (Marshmallow) can be found on most phones, there are still some that haven’t rolled it out yet.

LG is one of the manufacturers that are usually very quick to implement the latest Android updates and here is some info regarding the release dates of the two OSs, Marshmallow and N for its devices on Sprint, US Cellular, T-Mobile, Verizon and AT&T.

Most of the LG phones already have Android Marshmallow and the company recently revealed at the MWC 2016 event that the LG G5 will come with Android M.

The LG G4 on US Cellular, AT&T, Verizon, Sprint and Verizon is already rolling it and so is LG G3 on Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile for now. The same goes for the LG V10

The only smartphones that haven’t updated to Marshmallow yet are LG G Flex 2, LG G4 Stylo and LG G Pad X8.3 but several reports from Tech Radar state that the update will come to them very soon.

If you happen to have a newer LG device and it hasn’t updated the OS yet, you should try to see if you can, in fact, do it manually. To do this, go to Settings and tap System Update and see if the upgrade is available. If it’s available, tap it and just follow the instructions. And even if you don’t have it, it’ll probably come to you very soon.

Now, things are slightly more complicated when it comes to the upcoming Android N. Pocket Lint reported that LG users will be seeing this OS upgrade within a few of months after the official release, probably sometime in December 2016. The same reports say that the older LG devices like LG G4 and LG G3 won’t get it but this is only an assumption.
