Depending on which part of the world you’re located, you’re likely to be downloading Fallout 4 mods for Xbox One by now, playing the game since yesterday, or waiting for one day more. Whichever is the case, there is a reason to celebrate. Because Xbox One mods are definitely worth the wait. To think it was just a few weeks ago when Fallout 4 Beta tests were done.
- Glass combat armor
This is basically the glass version of a combat armor, with the same base stats and supports the same mods. The only difference is that it changes color based on the mods enabled – brown for the standard version, red for reinforced, purple for polymer, black for shadowed mod, and green for fiberglass. It is available in different versions light, sturdy and heavy.
As the name suggests, this mod adds everything you need when camping in the Wasteland, such as tents, sleeping bags, lanterns, cooking pots, clothes wall and a new dog bed for dog meat. Each of these items adds unique animation, sound and interactivity to the gameplay.
- Super strong back rank 1
This simple mod increases the carry weight from 25 to 5000 to minimize the number of trips you have to make to retrieve all your hard-earned loot. But any alteration of Rank 1 of Strong Back will revert the carry weight to the original 25.
- Ring of experience
Also called the Ring of Intelligence, this ring adds 1,000 points to intelligence, multiplying by about 30x all experience gained from the game. The ring can be found in Vault 111 in the very first toolbox that you will see after you successfully escape from Vault 111. What’s great about the ring of experience is that it will continue to spawn even if you’ve already put in over 300 hours into your character. The only downside is that only 1 ring can be used at one time.
The list of Fallout 4 Xbox One mods can go on and on. It is just unfortunate that Bethesda has placed a 2-GB limit on storage, which means you can only store mod data of 2GB at once. But because mods don’t consume a lot of space, there’s plenty of room available.
Another interesting feature is the way files are saved. Once a mod is installed, the game will be saved into the old and new. If anything happens to the newly saved file, you can always reload the old one.
