There are rumors out there saying that it’s very possible that Samsung will name the next Note with the number 7 and that it will turn the Note series into laptop hybrids.
The reason why Samsung will most likely name the upcoming device in the Note series, Galaxy Note 7 – is due to the fact that there are consumers out there that might confuse something from Samsung with the number 6 in the name with an outdated device in the context of the upcoming release of the Galaxy S7.
This has happened before when Samsung released Galaxy Note 5 along with Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge and people were confused and believed that the Note 5 was a lower spec device than the smartphone.
The Galaxy Note 6 (or 7) is presumed to feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, 6 GB of RAM, brand new imaging tech, an iris scanner plus many awesome features.

According to Evan Blass, the Galaxy Note 6 (or 7) will be launched on the 15th of August 2016 in the US, but there is no information yet on when it will be released in UK.
Huge 6 GB of RAM
Recently, at a Forum held in China, Samsung unveiled a huge new RAM chip of 6 GB and many believe that it will be implemented into the Galaxy Note 6 (or 7).
A Dutch website leaked info that says Samsung has been testing two prototypes for the device – one with a curved edge display and one with a normal flat screen. So far, we don’t know which one they settled for, but the choice depends, of course of the design’s compatibility with the VR headset which is a very important feature in Samsung’s latest devices.
The Focus Hub Feature
The Galaxy Note 6 (or 7) is rumored to feature a Samsung Focus program which will act as an aggregation platform for communicating and information – basically, it will gather all of your emails, calendar info, contacts etc. in one place. It’s very similar to the Blackberry Hub
It’s believed that the Galaxy Note 6 (or 7) will feature new imaging technology, an aperture of f/1.4, a larger 1/1.7 inch CMOS sensor and an 18 – 24 MP resolution.
SamMobile from China posted leaked info online stating that Samsung will have a quad core MSM8996 Pro Qualcomm Snapdragon 823 processor with an ADRENO 530 GPU, a clock-speed of 2.6 GHz.
It’s very likely that the Galaxy Note 6 (or 7) will feature a 4000 mAh battery, according to a Dutch tech site which means that it will be very efficient device. There is no info however on if the batter will be removable or not.
The Galaxy Note 6 (or 7) will probably be dustproof and waterproof with an IP68 certification.
