Recently, the HTC 10 has been announced in India, and people are really curious about the prices. It’s not the cheapest out there on the market, costing almost Rs 53,000, but who was expecting it to be cheap, based on its features? Another best budget option that is available today in India is the Xiaomi Mi 5.
The HTC has many interesting features, but so does the Mi 5. Both enjoy a great processor, the Snapdragon 820, and the same quality camera. However, when it comes to camera, the HTC has a small advantage, given the fact that it has a stabilizer even for the front camera. Regarding the display, the HTC also offers more here, with a 5.2 inches display (a Quad HD one!) and a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. Meanwhile, Xiaomi offers the same 5.15 inches display (only Full HD apparently) and a 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution.
They are pretty much on the same level when it comes to design too. They have a design based on metal and aluminum which has a premium look. The Mi 5 incorporates a glass panel on the back, so its look is classier. However, it all depends on personal taste, so the style of the design is not quite an objective thing to compare.
The battery though remains a very important aspect. Xiaomi has opted for a 3,000 mAh battery, which is relatively small for such a flagship smartphone. One reason for which Xiaomi might have decided to go for this is the fact that it would have made the phone heavier or thicker. On the other hand, HTC 10 features the same 3,000 mAh, so there is no difference between the two. In the end, it all depends on personal taste and preference, so the decision varies from user to user.
