According to the changelog, the upcoming update of Windows 10 and Pocket Edition will introduce pistons and sticky pistons, fire charges, pig riding, leads, horses and dyeable horse armor, skeleton horse traps, stray skeletons in tundras, husk zombies in the desert, different villages in taigas and savannahs, online multiplayer with Xbox Live friends, Xbox Live Achievements on iOS and Android, mysterious as-yet-unspecified friendliness, Observer blocks (new blocks that can detect changes in neighboring blocks), an improved UI for the main menu, shared with the Windows 10 Edition and lastly, players will tip arrows using a cauldron and potions.

Yes, this upcoming Minecraft update, which will be named “The Friendly Update” (0.15), will be available for Android and iOS as well, but Mojang has announced when it will be released. Below, you can watch the teaser video for the upcoming update:

By adding pistons in the game, players will have endless possibilities to use them. In the trailer, the Rube Goldberg machine (created by BlockWorks and TheMusicalKnight) is showcasing the new pistons, so when they will be available, players will know what to do with them. “Pistons have been a top feature requested by the Minecraft community, and we are excited to deliver the feature to players soon, which will allow them to create even cooler buildings and contraptions in their Minecraft worlds,” Mojang told GamesBeat.

Mojang and Microsoft have a reason to celebrate, because until now, they sold 100 million copies of Minecraft on all platforms, including the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Wii U consoles.
