Back in 2015, when Avengers: Age of Ultron was released, the Galaxy S6 edge has received an Iron Man Limited Edition, which had an exaggerated price of over 2000 dollars. This time, Samsung’s got its inspiration from Injustice: Gods Among Us video game, and for the production of the “Injustice Edition” variant of the Galaxy S7 Edge, the South Korean manufacturer has teamed up with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment. On the back of this upcoming phone you’ll find characters such as Batman, Batgirl, Catwoman, Green Lantern, Harley Quinn, Joker, Lex Luthor, Superman and Wonder Woman.
The Batman logo will be placed on the back of the Galaxy S7 edge Injustice Edition and it will be painted in gold. Also, in the package, customers will find a Samsung Gear VR, as well as a phone case that resembles Batman’s armor, Batman wallpapers, a gold-colored Batarang, Oculus VR content vouchers and Injustice game credit. However, not all mobile operators from all markets will offer all items from this list. Injustice: Gods Among Us game is found on the Google Play Store and customers can make in-app purchases if they want additional weapons or extra energy.
The Galaxy S7 edge Injustice Edition is expected to be released on June 13 in the following countries and regions: China, Singapore, Korea, Latin America and Russia. The phone will be more widely available than the Iron Man edition, which was released only in Hong Kong, China and Korea.
So, the specs of the Injustice Edition are those from the Galaxy S7 Edge: a 5.5-inch display with a QHD resolution, the back is made of glass and the frame from metal, the memory is expandable and it supports a microSD card with a maximum capacity of 200GB, and it’s powered by either a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor (US) or Exynos 8890 (international) processor, backed by 4GB of RAM. The battery has a capacity of 3600mAh and the interior is protected against dust and water.
