In our latest comparison of the two smartphones we had little information about them but now we are back. Samsung has announced two new models that are part of the new Galaxy C lineup. Today we will talk about the new Galaxy C5 and Galaxy C7, two mid-range devices which come with a premium design (curved metal body similar to that of a HTC flagship or an iPhone 6), but their specifications are slightly weaker.

Samsung Galaxy C5

The Galaxy C5 comes with a 5.2-inch super AMOLED display that features a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. The handset comes with a metal shell design with lines at the bottom and the top of the rear panel.

The Galaxy C5 features a Qualcomm MSM8952 Snapdragon 617 chipset, an octa-core Cortex A53 CPU clocked at 1.5GHz, an Adreno 405 graphics card and 4GB of RAM. When it comes to the cameras, the handset features a primary one of 16MP that’s located on the rear side of the device and a secondary one of 8MP which is located on the front side of the smartphone. The device is powered by a non-removable 2600 mAh battery.

Samsung Galaxy C7

On the other hand, the Galaxy C7 comes with slightly better features when compared to the Galaxy C5. First of all, the handset features a bigger super AMOLED display of 5.7-inch that supports a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. In addition, the Galaxy C7 has a Qualcomm MSM8953 Snapdragon 625 chipset and an octa-core Cortex A53 CPU clocked at 2.0GHz. The device comes with similar cameras, but it’s powered by a bigger non-removable battery of 3300 mAh. However, let’s not forget that the device has a bigger display, which means that it will consume more power, so Samsung had to come with a bigger battery in order to keep the device “alive” for a decent amount of hours.

The Galaxy C5 and Galaxy C7 come with a wide range of colors including Gold, Rose Gold, Silver and Gray. However, it is good to know that both devices will be released in China and we don’t have any official announcement if these smartphones will ever be released in other countries.

The Galaxy C5 will be sold at a price of 335 dollars, while the Galaxy C7 will cost around 395 dollars.
