Fallout 4 Mods is finally coming to Xbox One consoles starting from May 31, 2016. Bethesda has officially made the announcement, which means that next week, all Xbox One owners that play Fallout 4 will be able to try out the mods that have been created by other players or developers. It is good to know that Fallout 4 Mods BETA has already started earlier this week and until now, all things are going in the right direction.
If you play Fallout 4 from a PlayStation 4, then you should be a bit more patient, as according to reports, the Fallout 4 Mods will arrive to this console sometime in June 2016. Unfortunately, Bethesda didn’t give us an official date when this will happen.
It is good to know that yesterday, at 4PM EST (May 27, 2016), Bethesda has made a livestream event where it showcased the Fallout 4 mod system on Xbox One. If you have missed the livestream, you can watch the saved video on twitch if you click on this link.
It is good to know that there are many mods that have been originally created for the Fallout 4: PC version, but now they are making their way to the console. We remind you that the Fallout 4 mods for PC have been available since the release of the game (November 2015), but Bethesda has added support for them in April 2016.
Bethesda has also confirmed that it is planning to bring the Fallout 4 mods to the Xbox One in May 2016, after the Far Harbor DLC is released (which is already out). It is good to know that Mod support on console is quite rare and you should know that CD Projekt RED, the developers of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, have promised that they want to bring PC mods to console, but no official announcement has been made about this yet.
