People around the world were very happy to know that OnePlus is on the verge of releasing the fourth smartphone. This is really exciting news and people are more and more curious about the features of the new device.
What we know for sure already is the fact that it will be named OnePlus 3. The company itself used this name, so there’s no doubt about that. Just like they did last year, OnePlus will make the official announcement of the phone in a virtual reality HQ they call “The Loop”. Moreover, they sent 30,000 headsets for free to fans so that they could see the launch, and apparently they already sent them all.
But what is the deal with the headset? Well, apparently people who will watch the launch using it will be the first to have the chance to order the new device. As to the date of this release, OnePlus announced back in February that the device will get to see the light of the day (and of many, many users) somewhere in June. By now, we can say that they are keeping their promise.
Regarding the specs and what features it brings new, Carl Pei, who is a co-founder of the company, declared that the new phone will not copy the design of the previous versions. As it seems, it will have a metal design and some details resembling the HTC 10. Moreover, the new device will bring an AMOLED screen, which saves battery while offering excellent quality. The battery is rumored to be a 3,000 mAh one, so a pretty long battery life. Apparently we will get to choose between a 32 GB internal memory and 4 GB RAM version and a 64 GB storage and 6 GB RAM one.
