HTC has released its Desire 825 smartphone in April 2016 while Sony’s Xperia XA Ultra giant handset will come soon, according to GSMArena. Today we will compare these two handsets and let you decide which one you suits your needs better.
The HTC Desire 825 measures 156.9×76.9×7.4mm and weights 155 grams. Likewise other Desire models, it has a plastic body with a two-tone design, but this time, on the back you’ll notice splashes of spots that make the device look funky. On the other hand, the Sony Xperia XA Ultra is thicker and heavier, as it measures 164x79x8.4mm and weights 202 grams, but it has a glass and metal design, featuring a 2.5D front glass and a metal frame that looks exactly as on the Xperia XA.
The HTC Desire 825 has a super LCD display of 5.5-inch that supports a resolution o f 1280×720 pixels at 267 ppi. The Sony Xperia XA Ultra has a bigger IPS LCD display of 6-inch that supports a higher resolution of 1920×1080 pixels at 367 ppi.
Processors, Graphics Cards & RAM
The HTC Desire 825 features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset, a quad-core Cortex A7 CPU clocked at 1.6GHz, an Adreno 305 graphics card and 2GB of RAM. The Sony Xperia XA Ultra has a Mediatek MT6755 Helio P10 chipset, an octa-core Cortex A53 CPU clocked at 2.0GHz, a Mali-T860MP2 graphics card and 3GB of RAM.
Both devices have been released with an internal storage of 16GB, which can be expanded up to 200GB using a microSD card.
The HTC Desire 825 sports a primary camera of 13MP that features LED flash, autofocus, geo-tagging, face detection, HDR, panorama, touch focus and a secondary camera of 5MP. The Sony Xperia XA Ultra has a better primary camera of 21.5MP that features phase detection autofocus, LED flash, geo-tagging, HDR, panorama, face detection, touch focus and a secondary camera of 16MP.
Both devices support a battery of 2700 mah, but only the HTC Desire 825 has a removable cell.
