GTA 5 was surely a big success for Rockstar Games and this is the reason why the developers are releasing new missions, vehicles, multiplayer modes and more. However, today we will not talk about GTA 5 and, instead, we will focus on the upcoming GTA 6, a game that many fans of the series are waiting anxiously.

Some new rumors are suggesting that Rockstar Games will announce the “Red Redemption 2” or “GTA 6” during the E3 2016 event. None of these two games has been confirmed by the developers yet, but, hopefully, after the E3 2016 event we will know which one of them is already under development. Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2016 will be held next month during June 14-16, 2016 in Los Angeles, California.

In concordance with Take-Two, Rockstar Games is currently working on some awesome projects that will be unveiled soon to the public. Some of the rumors say that the developers are preparing to unveil “Red Redemption 2” a game that many games have also been waiting for quite a while.

Unfortunately, reports say that a GTA 6 announcement is unlikely to happen. First of all, the GTA 5 is still doing very well in terms of sells. Over 65 million copies of the GTA 5 have been sold globally and in the past three months there have been sold 5 million copies. In other words, Rockstar would make a big mistake by announcing a GTA 6, as the current version of the game is still selling well.

Some earlier rumors were suggesting that the GTA 6 will be released sometime in 2018-2020, which means that there are higher chances that the game will be announced sometime next year, when Sony will release the PlayStation 5 and Microsoft will bring its next Xbox Two console.
