A new WhatsApp BETA version has been released for Android devices and today we will talk about it. The new WhatsApp 2.16.92 comes with some nice surprises, and we’ll tell you about them below.
Internally, the WhatsApp 2.16.92 APK (installation) has been decreased by 25KB, it has over 420 files modified, most of them related to the user interface. The reduction in size is because 8 files have been deleted, along with the “ic_go_search.png” icon and other files that are related to their appearance. This means that a new look might come to the application. Unfortunately, we don’t have any news regarding the rumored Video Calling feature. However, we are pretty sure that it is just a matter of time until it will be released for Android devices.
The WhatsApp 2.16.92 is currently in BETA phase, which means that you might find errors and issues. However, most of these problems will be fixed as soon as the stable version will be released.
