The Motorola Moto G4 Plus has been released in May 2016, while the Huawei P9 was arrived one month earlier. Today we will compare these two handsets and let you decide which one of them you will want to purchase.

Designs

The Moto G4 Plus measures 153×76.6×9.8mm and weights 155 grams. It has a plastic body which feels comfortable to hold because it’s curved on the edges, and it has a metal frame that looks premium. The Huawei P9 has a sleek metal body, is thinner and lighter, measuring 145×70.9x7mm and weighting 144 grams.

Displays



The Moto G4 Plus has an IPS LCD display of 5.5-inch that supports a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels at 401 ppi and it’s protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. On the other hand, the Huawei P9 comes with an IPS-NEO LCD display of 5.2-inch that supports the same resolution, but which offers a higher pixel density of 423 ppi and it’s protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4.

Processors, Graphics Cards & RAM

The Moto G4 Plus features a Qualcomm MSM8952 Snapdragon 617 chipset, a quad-core Cortex A53 processor clocked at 1.5GHz and a quad-core Cortex A53 processor clocked at 1.2GHz, an Adreno 405 graphics card and with 2GB, 3GB or 4GB of RAM. The Huawei P9 comes with a HiSilicon Kirin 955 chipset, a quad-core Cortex A72 processor clocked at 2.5GHz and a quad-core Cortex A53 processor clocked at 1.8GHz, a Mali-T880 MP4 graphics card and 3GB or 4GB of RAM.

Storages

The Moto G4 Plus has been released in three internal storage variants of 16GB, 32GB and 64GB, which can be expanded up to 128GB using a microSD card. The Huawei P9 comes in two internal storage variants of 32GB and 64GB, but they support expansion up to the same capacity.

Cameras

The Moto G4 Plus sports a primary camera of 16MP that features dual-LED flash, phase detection & laser autofocus, geo-tagging, touch focus, auto-HDR, panorama, face detection and a secondary camera of 5MP. The Huawei P9 comes with a dual-primary camera of 12MP that features phase detection autofocus, dual-LED flash, geo-tagging, face detection, touch focus, HDR and a secondary camera of 8MP.

Batteries

Both devices come with non-removable batteries of 3000 mAh.
