The Sims 4 game launched in 2014 has enjoyed tremendous success among fans and it’s not even available at this point for console gaming. However, some rumors have been circling the web state that we will be seeing the game very soon on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles. But there have been other rumors recently that suggest that the console version will cone to fans sometime in 2017, which is a long time from now.
Apparently, the developers of The Sims 4 have stated that it’s very difficult to port the PC game to the Xbox One and Play Station 4 platforms because there have been many technological glitches found in the initial phase of the porting.
This did not happen however, or at least, not to this degree, when The Sims 3 was ported to these consoles less than two years after the PC version was released. If things would have gone the same for the 4th instalment, we would have seen the console version of it by now.
Until then, fans can enjoy the next Sims 4 expansion pack entitled The Sims 4: Dine Out.
