The OnePlus X, Moto G4 Plus and Galaxy J7 (2016) are three smartphones that come with some decent specifications and today we will compare them. The first one was released last year, the second will arrive in June, most likely, while the latter has hit the stores last month.
The OnePlus X measures 140x69x6.9mm and weights 160 grams. Unlike the OnePlus Two, which has a Sandstone back, for the OnePlus X, the Chinese company has used Onyx and Ceramic materials for the rear panel. On the other hand, the Moto G4 Plus measures 153×76.6×9.8mm and weights 155 grams. It isn’t sure if its back will be made of plastic or Lenovo, the new owner of Motorola, will switch to metal. The Galaxy J7 (2016) measures 151.7x76x7.8mm, it weights 170 grams and has a full metal body.
The OnePlus X has an AMOLED display of 5-inch that supports a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels at 441 ppi and it’s protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The Moto G4 Plus has a bigger IPS LCD display of 5.5-inch that supports a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels at 401 ppi and it’s protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The Galaxy J7 (2016) handset comes with a super AMOLED display of 5.5-inch that supports a lower resolution of 1280×720 pixels at 267 ppi.

The OnePlus X features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chipset, a quad-core Krait 400 CPU clocked at 2.3GHz, an Adreno 330 graphics card and 3GB of RAM. The Moto G4 Plus comes with a Qualcomm MSM8952 Snapdragon 617 chipset, a quad-core Cortex A53 CPU clocked at 1.5GHz and a quad-core Cortex A53 CPU clocked at 1.2GHz, an Adreno 405 graphics card and 2GB, 3GB or 4GB of RAM. The Galaxy J7 (2016) has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 chipset, a quad-core Cortex A53 CPU clocked at 1.6GHz and a quad-core Cortex A53 CPU clocked at 1GHz, an Adreno 405 graphics card and 3GB of RAM.
The OnePlus X and Galaxy J7 (2016) have been released with an internal storage of 16GB, while the Moto G4 Plus comes in three internal storage variants of 16GB, 32GB and 64GB. All three devices feature a card slot for storage expansion that supports microSD cards up to 128GB.
The OnePlus X sports a primary camera of 13MP that features phase detection autofocus, LED flash, geo-tagging, face detection, panorama, HDR, touch focus and a secondary camera of 8MP. The Moto G4 Plus comes with a primary camera of 16MP that features phase detection and laser autofocus, dual-LED flash, geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, panorama, auto-HDR and a secondary camera of 5MP. The Galaxy J7 (2016) has a primary camera of 13MP that features autofocus, LED flash, touch focus, geo-tagging, face detection, HDR, panorama and a secondary camera of 5MP.
All three devices come with non-removable batteries and their capacities are: 2525 mAh (OnePlus X) and 3000 mAh (Moto G4 Plus and Galaxy J7 2016).
