On Wednesday, Google officially announcement the latest iteration of Android, the world’s most popular and used operating system. Just like the other announcements, Google’s Android N has a lot to offer.
The Google I/O 2016 conference was the event that shatters the world each year with new improvements – and will continue to do so. For Android, this year’s conference means a lot.
So, What’s New In Android N?
First and foremost, there is a split-screen view that lets you run more apps simultaneously. It differs from the existing feature with the fact that you can reply to texts directly instead of switching between the split-screened app and making actions in each separately.
Aside from that, Google’s Android N has a battery saving feature that is called Doze on the Go. This is an update from the existing Doze feature, which puts a halt to the background and reduces the use of your battery if you haven’t used your phone for a while. However, the latest Doze on the Go is an update of this feature. With it, your phone can now take a break even if it is on the move with you – in your pocket or purse.
Aside from these nice features, the Android N comes with some better graphics. This means the world to the game developers who won’t anymore take chances when it comes to the GPU control of each device. Now, Google has set a cross-platform 3D graphics API called Vulkan, allowing every developer to create better looking games with some amazing effects.
If you are a fan of emojis, Android N will also surprise you. The newest upgrade also includes brand new representations fro 72 new emojis. And the most important thing?
Well, Android is going to install apps 75 percent faster and its apps will take up less space.
When To Expect The Android N?
The next version of Android will pop on every smartphone and tablet later this summer. Presently, a beta version is out there for Nexus 6P, Nexus 5X, Nexus 6, Nexus 9 and Pixel C tablet owners.
This clearly shows us that Google has been working full-steam the previous year. And our loyalty for its new innovations, is the biggest reward for the teams behind Google.
