A new update for Clash of Clans has been released yesterday (May 17, 2016) and it comes with gem boost, a new “Friendly Challenges” feature and other. The Clash of Clans servers have been shut down yesterday morning, which allowed developers from Supercell to start uploading the new improvements.
The new “Friendly Challenges” feature that has just been released for Clash of Clans, will allow players to practice attacks on their own clan mates. This new practice tool will surely be very helpful not only for the new players, but also for veterans who are always trying to improve their attacking/defending strategy.
However, keep in mind that it will take a few days until the “Friendly Challenges” feature will be enabled by the developers. Using this new feature, you will be able to accept a challenge or even challenge someone from your clan. The “Challenge” button will be found on the top side of the can chat page, which will allow players to select the village that they have created (including villages that they have constructed for Clan Wars).
At the same time, the replays and results of each attack will be available in the clan chat, allowing the clan member to compare notes. There will be also an option to watch attacking while they are taking place (live), but it will be available later on.
The “Friendly Challenges” are unlimited and it won’t cost you gold or consume the Troops, Traps, Heroes or Spells that you will use while attacking a village. However, this also means that you will not earn any resources, bonuses or trophies.
As we’ve told you above there is a gem boost that Supercell has enabled in Clash of Clans, but it is not known exactly when it will be removed. This will help the players to collect more dark elixir, elixir and gold in the game.
