Tatsumi Kimishima, the president of Nintendo, has just confused even more the public, as he claimed that the Nintendo NX will not be a direct success to the 3DS or Wii U consoles, but it will be a new way of playing games.
During an interview with Asahi Shinbun (a Japenese website), Kimishima said that the Nintendo NX will have a larger impact than the Wii U, but that doesn’t mean that it will replace the console that has been released back in 2012. However, the president of Nintendo has mentioned that the Wii U business will have to suffer, as more and more people will be interested in purchasing this new handset.
There are reports which say that Nintendo will organize an event that is going to be focused completed on the upcoming NX. We remind you that Microsoft and Sony have done the same when they have unveiled their Xbox One and PlayStation 4 consoles.
We think that this would be the best way for Nintendo to publicly discuss games, specifications and the features that the NX console will come with. We remind you that the company has encountered many difficulties during the E3 event, where it has presented the Wii U console. With other words, Nintendo might avoid unveiling the Nintendo NX console during the E3 2016 and instead, it will create its own event.
We remind you that some earlier rumors suggested that the Nintendo NX will have better specifications than the PlayStation 4. However, this has not been confirmed by Nintendo and we will need to wait a few more time until the company will finally reveal this upcoming console.
Do you think that the Nintendo NX will have better specifications than the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 or it will be weaker and it will fail to impress fans?
