Clash of Clans (CoC) is one of the most successful and longest-running mobile games available today. Despite being on the gaming frontier for so long, it remains popular and most downloaded among mobile game apps.
Its popularity is unlikely to diminish, considering that Supercell, the game’s creators, continue to upgrade it for better gaming experience, especially to its millions of avid fans.
In the month of March alone, several changes have been released. In Town Hall 5+, for example, brewing time for all Dark Spells and all Elixir Spells have been decreased to 10 minutes and 20 minutes, respectively. In Town Hall 11, Eternal Tome and Grand Warden Aura have been reduced slightly. Matchmaking of Clan Wars has been improved to ensure clans are equally matched based on strength and capacity.
New content has also been added to various Town Halls, with Town Hall 10 getting the most content – New unit Bowler, Hog Rider level 6, Goblin level 7, and Valkyrie level 5. Town Hall 11, on the other hand, got Inferno Tower level 4 and Mortar level 9.
Changes are not limited to functionality alone, as some of the game’s aesthetics have also been improved. For instance, the menu for war events have been re-designed to improve readability. Updates have also been rolled out to address issues on fair play, what with rampant cheating going on.
For the month of May, Supercell promised a bigger update than the last.
- Regeneration time for Archer Queen and Barbarian King is significantly reduced to less than 30 minutes.
- Training time for Balloon was reduced to 5 minutes
- Training time for Valkyrie was reduced to 5 minutes
- Training time for Healer was reduced to 10 minutes
- Brewing time for spells has been reduced
- Bowler troops received an update
There are plenty more upgrades that players can expect from COC this month of May. So despite some issues of the March updates, especially the failure to fix Town Hall 11, CoC fans still have something to look forward to.
Of course, it would make a world of difference if loot farming in Town Hall 11 won’t be as difficult, following the December 2015 updates. Players would be saved from coming up with a less fail-proof strategy to get around the problem. They also haven’t moved on from using the Town Hall as a regular storage, when it is no longer the same.
Guilty of doing the same thing? Well, you’re not alone.
