Samsung is surely one of the most popular companies out there that create awesome smartphones. Today we will compare three flagships that this company has released in 2014, 2015 and 2016.
The Galaxy S5 measures 142×72.5×8.1mm and weights 145 grams. On the other hand, the Galaxy S6 is slimmer and lighter, as it measures 143.4×70.5 x6.8mm and weights 138 grams. All three devices have super AMOLED displays of 5.1-inch, but the Galaxy S5 supports a Full HD resolution of 1920×1080 pixels at 432 ppi and it’s protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3, while the other models support a QHD resolution of 2560×1440 pixels at 577 ppi and their screens are protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4.

The Galaxy S5 features a Qualcomm MSM8974AC Snapdragon 801 chipset, a quad-core Krait 400 CPU clocked at 2.5GHz, an Adreno 330 graphics card and 2GB of RAM. The Galaxy S6 has an Exynos 7420 Octa chipset, a quad-core Cortex A53 CPU clocked at 1.5GHz and a quad-core Cortex A57 CPU clocked at 2.1GHz, a Mali-T760MP8 graphics card and 3GB of RAM. Lastly, the Galaxy S7 has been released in two variants, as follows:

The Galaxy S5 has been released in two internal storage variants of 16GB and 32GB, which you can expand up to 128GB using a microSD card. The Galaxy S6 was released in three internal storage variants of 32GB, 64GB and 128GB, but it doesn’t offer a card slot for storage expansion. The Galaxy S7 comes in two internal storage variants of 32GB and 64GB, which you can expand up to 200GB thanks to the microSD card slot that it features.
The Galaxy S5 sports a primary camera of 16MP that supports LED flash, phase detection autofocus, geo-tagging, panorama, HDR, face detection and a secondary camera of 2MP. The Galaxy S6 was released with a primary camera of 16MP that offers LED flash, OIS, autofocus, geo-tagging, face detection, auto HDR, panorama and a secondary camera of 5MP. The Galaxy S7 has a primary camera of 12MP that features phase detection autofocus, OIS, LED flash, geo-tagging, face detection, auto HDR, panorama, touch focus and a secondary camera of 5MP.
The Galaxy S5 has a removable battery of 2800 mAh, which is more powerful than the 2550mAh non-removable battery of the Galaxy S6, but weaker than the non-removable 3000 mAh battery of the Galaxy S7.
