The long rumored MacBook Pro 2016 is expected to make its appearance at the WWDC that will take place in June. Apple is already making room for the new model, as it’s selling the 2015 MacBook Pro at a discount of $290.

Adorama and Apple Insider have an attractive deal for those who are not interested in buying the latest MacBook Pro model can buy the 2015 tablet at a more affordable price, and with a bonus Apple SuperDrive. The 15-inch variant is sold alongside the USB-connected external DVD drive which can be found on Amazon at a price of $90, and if users set their eyes on the unit with a 2.5GHz processor backed by 16GB of RAM and which has an internal memory of 1TB, will spend $201 less on it, without paying any other shipment fee or sales tax.

Usually, the Apple SuperDrive costs $90, but since it’s offered for free, users are saving up to $290. Another interesting offer applies to the 27-inch iMac 5K, which is sold for $133 less and includes the Apple SuperDrive, as well.

These discounts are offered because Apple is preparing for the WWDC event that will kick off on June 13 and without a doubt, this is the date when the MacBook Pro 2016 will be unboxed. There aren’t many known details about the new model, only that it will be powered by an Intel Skylake processor, which will replace the Broadwell processor and will offer a much better performance. Also, in order to make sure that the MacBook pro will be faster and more stable, Apple will use the latest GPU and SSD technology.

Analysts believe that Apple will trim down the MacBook Pros, making them slimmer and lighter than the new 12-inch MacBook. However, users will still have two options of screen sizes to choose from: 13-inch and 15-inch.
