Hailing from the Chinese internet company entitled Zuk and Lenovo, the upcoming Lenovo Zuk Z1 seems to be a worthy midrange smartphone to be taken into consideration for purchase. It was launched this month and will soon hit the stores, but it has long been expected since September of last year.

Basically, Lenovo Zuk Z1 is a dual nano SIM gadget and will initially be available online through Amazon and only in either white or dark grey colors.

Body material, Design, Dimensions and Weight

Much like other midrange budget device, Lenovo Zuk Z1 won’t have a full metal casing but according to some reports, Zuk will include as much metal into the phone’s body as it is possible. So, its casing will probably be a combination between metal and plastic bits. There is a plastic panel on the back that cannot be removed and a metal band like a frame running along all the sides of the phone which will give it a more polished look. It also has the power and volume control button on the right side plus a SIM tray on the left side.

Furthermore, it will be a somewhat heavy device at 155.70×77.30×8.90 mm in size and 175g in weight, but still it will be very compact to hold and there will be very few chances of it slipping from your hand.

Screen Display, Pixel Resolution and Pixel Density

The aforementioned features will be similar to those found in other midrange devices. It will have a Full HD 5.5 inch LCD screen with a pixel density of 1920×1080 and 401 ppi in pixel density which ensures good quality images, video and games. Not only that, but the Gorilla Glass ensures a scratch free screen.

Primary and Secondary Cameras

The back camera will be a 13MP one and it will also sport a 5P Largan lens and a Sony IMX214 sensor with a dual LED flash so any photo shot with the camera will most likely be very sharp. Lenovo Zuk Z1 also has an optical image stabilization feature that allows taking photos even in very low light environments and other awesome perks alike touch focus, face detection, panorama, geo tagging and it can even record 1080p videos. The last aspect apply to the front 8MP camera.

Hardware, Software and Memory

Supposedly, Lenovo Zuk Z1 wil sport a quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chipset, a 2.5 GHz Krait 400 processor and an Adreno 330 graphics processor. Moreover, it will have 3GB of RAM and 64GB of storage capabilities.

The smartphone will also run Android Lollipop and the additional Cyanogen Mod 12.1 will feature many customization options for the status icons, font and toggle buttons.

Lenovo Zuk Z1 will feature a non-removable 4,100 mAh Li-Po battery with a charger that supports fast charge capabilities which will ensure anywhere from 38 hours to 536 hours of talk time.

In conclusion, Lenovo Zuk Z1 sports some really high quality specs for its price range and can be a really worthwhile purchase.
