Over the last months, we’ve seen many speculations on the internet about Apple’s next iPhone 7, but there are many people who prefer Android devices and one of the most awaited ones is Samsung’s Galaxy Note 6 phablet. The South Korean manufacturer will not make the same mistake again, when last year, the Note 5 and the Galaxy S6 had the same internal specs, only different sizes, and will try to make the Note 6 much more powerful than the Galaxy S7.
The latest rumors suggest that the Note 6 will be released in the US on August 15, and the information comes from the famous leaker Evan Blass known on Twitter as @evleaks, who said that the sixth-generation Galaxy Note is scheduled to arrive in mid-August. This is the same time when the previous Note 5 was launched, and since most of Blass’ predictions proved to be accurate, we don’t have any reason to believe that he’s wrong this time.
It’s not sure if August 15 is the date when the Note 6 will be released only in the US, or simultaneously, in other parts of the world, or additional territories will follow afterwards. It’s still early to tell if the Note 6 will truly come with the rumored specs, but it’s our duty to tell you that the device might come with a larger 5.8-inch Slim AMOLED display with the same resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels, it will be available in two variants of chips, just like the Galaxy S7, only that they will newer and much more powerful: Snapdragon 820 and Exynos 8890, which will support 6GB of RAM.
The cameras will have the same resolutions of 12MP and 5MP as the Galaxy S7, the internal memory will be available in variants of 64GB and 128GB and the device will support a microSD card for storage expansion. The battery will have a capacity between 3500 – 4000 mAh, the S Pen will be improved and rumors say that the phablet will be connected to a laptop docking station.
