Many things have happened this week in the Fallout 4 realm: a Bethesda teaser was released this week that showcases the nature of the upcoming Far Harbor’s gameplay, there’s an update on the mod release for Xbox One and a Play Station 4 leak on what will happen in Maine.
Bethesda has been recently criticized by fans recently for not allowing much of a choice in how to complete certain quests lines in Fallout 4, when compared to other instalments of the franchise like Fallout 3 or Fallout New Vegas. These last two games have a fanbase around it due to the fact that they had a many choices when they had to decide the fates of various locations.
As a result, Bethesda promised that the downloadable content for the games will be based on feedback from fans and they have given some hints in a Twitter post to the fact that Far Harbor will be the one that will bring that desired choice feature back. The tweet said that there will be many ways to play and many ways to solve conflicts in Far Harbor.
Also, a PS4 leaked list of Far Harbor achievements (trophies) has been published for the fans to check out until the DLC is actually released and these include quests named: Where you belong, Far from home, Close to home, Hooked and many others.
Furthermore, the leak stated that Far Harbor will have at least 20 locations, 3 settlements and 5 new quests.
As for the Fallout 4 mod support for Xbox One, Bethesda has begun to accept some of the players who want to join the Closed Beta version of the mod. It you want to be a part of it, you’ll have to register on the Bethesda official site where you will provide info related to your gamertag for the current Fallout 4.
The Xbox One mod support will be released soon after the launching of the Far Harbor DLC, according to Bethesda.
