Official information about GTA 5 DLC is as elusive as that of GTA 6. Players can only speculate, which often leads to rumors of varying degrees, including the idea of America football integrated with the game. The good news is Rockstar has confirmed that GTA 5 will have a single player DLC, although it is unclear as to when it will be released. The announcement comes in the wake of the release of GTA Online (multiplayer) DLC packages.
What would the single player DLC be like?
Looking back at some of the DLC previously released could give us a good idea of what to expect, although nothing is certain until it is officially released.
GTA Dangerous Business Pack
Theories suggest that this particular DLC could be more finance-related. It could involve playing in the stock market and buying or selling property. Along with this theory are new business-themed clothes, hairstyles and tattoos. In terms of weapons, special carbine and heavy pistol are added. There are also 3 new vehicles: Alpha, Jester and Turismo R.
GTA Beach Bum Pack
This DLC expansion pack for GTA 5 and GTA Online was launched for Xbox 360 on November 29, 2013. It was launched for PS3 9 days earlier. It included new vehicles and weapons, and character customization options. This DLC pack also added a variety of new Gang Attack, Deathmatch, ParachuteJobs, LMS,Races and Survival.
In keeping with the term Beach Bum, many beach-themed clothes were automatically added to the wardrobes of male and female characters. The update also included two new weapons: SNS pistol and a broken bottle. Four beach-themed vehicles were also added, namely BF Bifta, Canis Kalahari, Bravado Paradise and Pegassi Speeder.
GTA Online Content Creator
This is a free DLC tool that allows players to create or customize jobs and missions in GTA online. Its beta form was released last December 10, 2013. For this DLC, there’s a camera-based icon placement for customized events. It has menus for lobby camera, Randomize and Toggle Radar functions. Basically, GTA online Creator allows players to create their own capture missions, deathmatches and races. The most recent addition is the Capture Creator tool that players can use to make online capture missions.
Based on the previous DLCs, there are three things they have common – a new theme, complete with new clothes, new weapons and new vehicles. It is possible that the single player DLC for GTA 5 would follow suit.
While waiting for the new DLC and GTA 6, play other games with a similar theme.
