Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is due out on August 23, 2016. It is the fifth game in the popular cyberpunk action RPG series and will be released for the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
Mankind Divided is set two years after the previous game, Deus Ex: Human Revolution. It stars Adam Jensen, who is on a mission to stop a group of terrorists following the aftermath of a terrible incident that led to “mechanical apartheid,” while also trying to work against the sinister Illuminati.
Last week, a new trailer was released. Let’s take a look at the Deus Ex: Mankind Divided “101 Trailer” for a glimpse into its world and gameplay.
It’s a pretty exciting trailer in its own right, and does a good job of setting up the game’s grim setting, but it also shows off the content of the Day One Edition and the Collector’s Edition.
The Day One Edition is just the basic version of the game with special “day one” content included: the Covert Agent Pack of in-game items, an extra mission, a digital sampler of the soundtrack, and a digital art book, comic book, and novella. Since these are all digital bonuses, they are also available as part of the Standard Digital Edition, which includes a digital copy of the game rather than a physical one.
Both the Day One Edition and the Standard Digital Edition are priced at $59.99.
You can also get the Digital Deluxe Edition, which bundles the Standard Edition content with the Season Pass, for $89.99.
The Collector’s Edition contains everything from the Day One Edition and packages it with a limited edition steelbook case, an exclusive black and gold “prism” box, a 9-inch figurine of Adam Jensen, and a 48-page “Titan” art book. The Mankind Divided Collector’s Edition costs $139.99.
Although many retailers only have the Collector’s Edition listed for the PS4 and Xbox One, the Square Enix Online Store also sells a PC Collector’s Edition.
What do you think? Is the content included in the Deus Ex: Mankind Divided Collector’s Edition worth its price? Share your thoughts on that and the exciting 101 Trailer in the comments below.
