According to the latest reports, Microsoft has already reduced the price of the Surface Pro 3 with 200 dollars and the Surface Pro 4 is 150 dollars cheaper. Many have thought that Microsoft has made this price reduction because the Surface Pro 5 will be released in the future.

Well, we have some bad news for you, as according to reports, the Surface Pro 5 will not be released anytime soon. With other words, Microsoft is trying to make the Surface Pro 4 a bigger hit in the market, by reducing its price. We remind you that only a half of year has passed since the Surface Pro 4 has been released and since then it has received some pretty good reviews. However, many people have refused to purchase it because of its price, but with the new 150 dollars discount, things may change.

Surface Pro 5 To Not Be Released In 2016

According to new rumors, the Surface Pro 5 will come with an improved Intel processor, Kaby Lake and it will be released sometime in early 2017. There are some reports suggesting that the device will be released in the last quarter of 2016, but Microsoft hasn’t confirmed anything about the release date of this device.

Microsoft said that they want to come with a better hybrid laptop and the Surface Pro 5 will prove that. Aside from the Kaby Lake processor, which we’ve mentioned before, the device will also bring support for USB 3.1, USB Type-C and it will allow users to play videos at 4K resolution.

There are also rumors which say that the Surface Pro 5 will feature a rechargeable stylus that will come along with the 2-in-1 tablet.

Do you think that the Surface Pro 5 will be released in Q4 of 2016 or later?
