Clash of Clans has received a big update in March, which brought a new Dark Elixir troop and ways to remove cheaters, and a few days ago, Supercell has announced that the game will receive an important update, bigger than all the previous ones, that will come with quicker training times for troops, faster brewing spells and others.
In the update for December, Clash of Clans has received Town Hall 11, but players were very upset because of the gameplay changes and Supercell has tried to find a way to reconcile with the fans and to bring back those who quit.
Two days ago, the developers have made a big announcement, saying that a “game balancing update” will arrive soon and will revive Clash of Clans, which lost ground in front of Clash Royale. Supercell didn’t mention when the update will be available, but according to rumors, it will be released today, May 4.
In the past years, the game was changed a lot, introducing better troops, strong bases, walls harder to penetrate and more. Now, players will need big armies to defeat their enemies, but they are quite expensive and require 200-300k, plus it takes an hour to create huge troops, and they are sent to battle after two hours, for an attack that lasts only three minutes. This is quite frustrating and many players uninstalled the game, leaving clans of which they were part.
Hopefully the May update will remediate things and players will enjoy playing Clash of Clans as they did before. Supercell moderator Anoushka has provided a list of changes that will be brought alongside this update:
– two times faster brewing for all Spells;
– two times faster training for Dragon, Witch and Wall Breaker;
– three times faster training for Golem, Lava Hound and P.E.K.K.A;
– hero regeneration times have been reduced;
– it’s faster to train Balloon, Wizard, Healer, Valkyrie and Bowler;
– maximum timeout searching for opponents was raised to 30 minutes (from 5 minutes);
– when bowler reaches a target, it starts attacking much faster.
