Sharing is caring!

WhatsApp has over 1 billion monthly active users and this makes it one of the most used mobile messaging applications out there. As many of you already know, the developers of this application have failed to release a version of this application for computers. However, instead, they’ve released the WhatsApp WEB feature, which allows you to connect to your WhatsApp account from your PC via the web browser.

Unfortunately, the WhatsApp WEB feature comes with many limitations. First of all, you will need a mobile device that’s connected to the internet and to your WhatsApp account. After that, you will need to scan the QR code that you find on in order to log into your WhatsApp from your computer via the web browser.

However, once you log into your WhatsApp account from your computer, you will need to let the mobile device connected to the internet and the WhatsApp application open, as the smartphone will be used to send and receive data. With other words, once the smartphone gets disconnected from the internet or if the WhatsApp application is closed, you will not be able to send or receive WhatsApp messages from your PC’s web browser.

WhatsApp To Be Released For PC

According to some new reports, the developers of WhatsApp are currently working on releasing a WhatsApp version that will be fully functional on computers. With other words, you will no longer need a smartphone to connect on your WhatsApp account, but it will surely still need an identification process that will be possible via your smartphone.

However, this has not been confirmed yet by the developers, but we’re pretty sure that this will happen sometime in the next few weeks.
