Recently, Motorola has sent out some invites for the event they will host on the 17th of May in India (more precise in New Delhi). Although there is no official information, rumor has it that the company (which is owned by Lenovo) will release then the long-expected Moto G4 and the G4 Plus. The Moto G, third generation, was released last year in July, so it’s high time they released something new if they want to reach the markets.
According to recent rumors, Moto G4 will have a pretty high quality, with a 1080 pixels screen resolution and a 5.5 inch display. Moreover, it has a high performance, give the fact that it has an octa-core CPU. The 16 GB internal storage should be enough, especially since they come together with 2 GB RAM. Also, people talk about the company replacing the plastic look of the previous versions with a metallic frame that will go through the corners of the phone.
If you are thinking about the colors available for the phones, sadly we will only have to choose between black and white. But that doesn’t mean we have to limit our options, since we can always customize them ourselves, or simply buy some nice covers for them.
Another interesting addition to the phones (if the rumors turn out to be true) is the fingerprint scanner. Many say that Motorola copied the idea of using this from Apple, but truth is that this is becoming more and more of a trend lately, if we take into account the amount of new phones released with this feature. It remains to be seen whether the company will release both phones at once, or only one of them, and if all the rumors are based on something or not.
