Sharing is caring!

The new WhatsApp 2.16.54 update has been released and it comes with new features and some small changes to the user interface of the conversations. From now on, when you will long tap on a message that you’ve sent, the information icon will no longer appear at the top side and instead, you’ll see a “3 vertical points” button and once you will tap on it, you will be informed if the message has been read (and when) or not.

HINT: The developers have also added new icons and files, which allow us to respond or quote messages, but this feature has not been activated yet.

The WhatsApp 2.16.54 (APK) file has been increased with 33KB, it has 410 modified files, 2 deleted thumbnail files, and 6 new files such as: “semi_white_circle.xml”, “conversation_row_location_right_large.xml”,  “quote_message_in_popup.xml”, “quoted_message.xml”, “input_kbd_white.png” and “ic_action_reply.png”.
