The recent Galaxy S7 has set some high standards for the smartphone brands that planned to release a device this year. Ever since its release, it’s hard not to compare its specifications with the rest of the phones around. Recently, the Huawei P9 has been announced too and people are anxious to see a new example of great design and performance with which the company used them. What’s even more attractive is the fact that the Huawei devices cost almost half the price of top devices. However, which one is better?

Huawei P9 definitely continues the excellent line of design set by its predecessors. It has a precise design with a body made of aluminum and ceramic. Meanwhile, S7 is made of glass and metal, which offer it a tougher look. If you look for a slim phone, P9 is better than the S7.

Here, S7 is definitely the winner. It has a 5.1-inch display, compared to the 5.2-inch one of the P9, but it compensates through a Super AMOLED QHD resolution, which is also 2K, and a 577 ppi density. The P9 has a lower resolution of 1080 p and a 423 ppi.

The S7 has a 4GB RAM and a Snapdragon 820 SoC. There is also another version with the same RAM but an Exynos 8890 Soc. You can choose between 32 or 64 GB and you can also add a micro SD card, but only up to 200 GB. On the other hand, the P9 has a Kirin 955 SoC and you can choose between 3 or 4 GB RAM. The 4 GB RAM version comes together with 64 GB of storage, and you can only add a card up to 128 GB. What matters indeed are every person’s needs, so it all depends on personal preferences.
