The Taiwanere phone producer HTC has been gathering all our attention lately with their product HTC 10. However, it seems that the time has come for us to pay attention to a different phone: HTC One S9. Its release has been recently announced in Germany, and apparently it’s a mid-range phone. Of course, it represents the brand through its elegant metal case, and the two speakers on the front.
It comes together with a 5-inch Super LCD Display and a Gorilla Glass cover. Its resolution is 1920 x 1080 pixels, which is pretty good. However, unlike the HTC 10, here you have the speakers placed both on the top and on the bottom of the front. What is even more interesting about this phone is that it has eight cores (ARM Cortex-A52 ones), so its processor is a Mediatek MT6795 Helio X10 Octacore one for those who really know what they want in a phone. The cores are clocked up to 2.0 GHz and even more, it has a Power VR G6200 GPU in it.
The new HTC One S9 comes with 2 GB RAM and an internal memory of 16 GB. You can also add a microSD card in case you need more. The rear camera has OIS and 13 MP, and the best part is that you can record 4K quality videos! On the front, you get to enjoy a 4 MP UltraPixel camera, plus you can use the NFC feature. The battery is a 2840 mAh, and even if it’s not so big, it should last throughout the day.
Starting with the middle of May, people in Germany will be able to buy this new smartphone. They can choose between Silver-Gold, Gold or Gray and Black. The price starts at 499 euros.
