Yesterday, we’ve told you about the WhatsApp 2.16.44 version, but it seems that the developers of this application are quite busy as they’ve already released the WhatsApp 2.16.46 version for Android smartphones. The new beta update comes with a new in-app camera user interface, which makes it way simpler and easier to use.
You will notice that the camera button has been replaced with a “white” button and it is now looking way better than before. The new WhatsApp version also fixes some bugs and issues that were found by the developers or reported by the users. Unfortunately, the WhatsApp 2.16.46 is currently in BETA phase, which means that you will need to either join the BETA testing program (via Google Play Store) or download it and manually install it from the internet.
WhatsApp 2.16.46: How To Install On Your Android Smartphone
The WhatsApp 2.16.46 is in BETA phase, which means that from now on, you will be able to download and install it from the Google Play Store. To do this head to this page and tap on the “BECOME A TESTER” button in order to join the BETA testing program. After that, just open the Google Play Store, search for WhatsApp 2.16.46 and install it on your Android device.
However, if you don’t want to join the WhatsApp BETA testing program on the Google Play Store, you will be able to manually download the APK (installation) file of the WhatsApp 2.16.46 from whatsapp.com/android. After you’ve saved the WhatsApp 2.16.46 APK file to your Android device, you will need to enable the “Unknown Sources” option, which will allow you to install APK files that have been downloaded from a third party source (this option can be enabled from your device’s Settings->Applications or Settings->Security).
After enabling the “Unknown Sources” option, go to the location where you’ve saved the WhatsApp 2.16.46 APK file and tap on it to start installing the latest WhatsApp BETA version on your Android device.
