A new WhatsApp BETA version has been released for Android smartphones and it is now available on the Google Play Store. The new WhatsApp 2.16.36 BETA is almost similar to the previous update, which means that it doesn’t bring any new features, but it does contain bug fixes and improvements.

Unfortunately, we don’t have any news regarding the rumored Video Calling feature. At the same time, we remind you that this feature has not been confirmed by the developers yet, so we’re not sure if it will come anytime soon.



The WhatsApp 2.16.36 APK file has been increased with 37KB, it doesn’t have any deleted or added files, but 189 files have been modified, most of them related to functions and chat conversations.

We remind you that the WhatsApp 2.16.36 is currently in BETA phase, which means that you may encounter some installation errors, crashes and other unexpected errors. However, if you find any problems, we suggest you to report them as soon as possible to developers, so they will do their best to fix them before the next stable version of the application will be released.
