After waiting a considerable amount of time for the release of Pokémon Z, fans will sadly have to wait even more. The game was put on hold by Nintendo because the company wants to focus on other games from the Pokémon universe, which is a bit disappointing seeing as the fans were expecting it to be released this year, when the game was supposed to celebrate its 20th anniversary. Even more, the gamers were anticipating Pokémon Z’s release during the Nintendo Direct event which, obviously, didn’t happen. The event is by now old news and the company hasn’t said a word about the game yet. Instead, they released other games and didn’t look back.
Three years ago two Nintendo games came out, “Pokémon X” and “Pokémon Y”, which were immediately loved by players. So you can imagine the enthusiasm over the new installment, the Pokémon Z. You can also imagine the disappointment when it failed to be released, with no words about it either.
It seems that Nintendo even cancelled the game’s development, to focus on the release of “Pokémon Sun” and “Pokémon Moon.”
But we should remember that even though news about the game being put to death are circulating on the internet, no official statement has been made by Nintendo. So we shouldn’t worry, right? Especially because the Nintendo 3DS platform has already made an announcement that the release date for Pokémon Z will be in 2016.
The exact date is not yet known, so fans are still hoping that news on how the game was cancelled are just rumors.
And, while every Pokémon fan is waiting for any information on the game, they can be entertained by Pokémon GO, the latest augmented reality platform introduced by Nintendo, which can be used on both iOS and Android.
