There have been speculations regarding the upcoming Nintendo NX console, but it seems that these rumors are backed by three different sources, which means that they’re most likely true.
First of all, it seems that the second screen controller concept will return and according to a post from a Redditor, the NX console will have a screen controller, which will allow gamers to use it anywhere to play their home console games. With other words, the controller will actually have basic OS functions that will allow players to access the NX console from anywhere.
According to reports, Nintendo will most likely use the improved Wii U gamepad streaming technology and it will allow gamers to use the controller anywhere and connect it to the NX consoles at home (most likely via Wi-Fi connection). With other words, this will act like a remote play, which is quite similar to the way the PlayStation Vita can be used to connect to a PS4 console, remotely.
There are also rumors which say that the Nintendo NX will be able to play games at 4K resolution, which could be a direct answer to the upcoming PlayStation console that Sony wants to release in the near future.
According to rumors, the upcoming PlayStation console is codenamed “NEO” and it will come with a powerful CPU (8 Jaguar Cores at 2.1 GHz) and GPU (upgraded AMD GCN, 36 CUs at 911 MHz), alongside 8 GB GDDR5, 218 GB/s. The upcoming PlayStation 4.5 NEO console is expected to cost 399 dollars, which means that the current PlayStation 4 price will most likely be reduced.
What are your thoughts about the upcoming Nintendo NX? Will you purchase the PlayStation 4.5 NEO once it will be released or you will prefer to use the “old” PlayStation 4?
